Each Baker will create three items using Talley Fresh Farms Box fruit for the audience to taste and the professional judges to score to find out who is the Best Baker.
The contest will run like the show “The Great British Bake Off” with the Bakers competing in three categories…
Category #1: Signature Bake – Bakers can make anything using ingredients from the Talley Box of fruit and anything you would like to add to the recipe.
Category #2: Technique – All contestants will be given the same recipe and be judged on presentation and taste.
Category #3: Holiday Show Stopper – A holiday inspired baked good that will leave them breathless.
During the Expo, Bakers will give out bite-sized samples of their Signature Bake to be judged on taste, originality, use of products and presentation from the attendees. The celebrity judges will participate in the blind tasting and grade on all three dishes. Bakers will plate items on the live stage being filmed for a Taste Buds episode. Attendees can sample and vote for the Best Chef People’s Choice at the Inspired Home Expo.
