Home Cooked Meals with Dream Dinners

Join us for a cooking demonstration showcasing the easy and tasty meals brought to you by Dream Dinners of San Luis Obispo.
Join us as 5 local San Luis Obispo County chefs go head to head in the Taste Buds “Hidden Treasures” Chef Competition. The contest includes chef’s competing in a “Chopped” style battle using a CSA box from Talley Farms Fresh Harvest.

Efern Alvares of Efren’s Mexican Restaurants – San Luis Obispo

John Carswell of SLO Finest Catering – San Luis Obispo
Cory Beckwith of Puffers of Pismo – Pismo Beach
Chefs will receive a Talley Box of produce and fruits and can add any protein they desire. “We’re looking forward to experiencing the unique tastes these chefs will create with the fresh and local fruits and vegetables from our Talley Farms Fresh Harvest boxes,” stated Andrea S Chavez, Manager of Fresh Harvest Talley Farms.
A panel of professional judges will oversee the blind arbitrating while the attendees can taste and vote for the People’s Choice. Chefs will be judged on use of ingredients, presentation, taste and originality. After the show, each chef will be featured in an article with the recipe and pictures in the Reveal the Central Coast Magazine.
Attendees can sample and vote for the Best chef People’s Choice at the Inspired Home Expo.
The winners will be announced Sunday at 3:30pm.
