It’s no question that wedding season is upon us! From May through October – it seems like weddings are happening every place I visit. We do have some beautiful venues here on the west coast! Recently, I’ve been helping a few close friends with venue research for their upcoming weddings. One of the couples really enjoys the outdoors, and connecting with nature. I came across some beautiful options at 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort & Spa; it had all of the “must-haves” that the couple was looking for:
- Outdoor ceremony option
- Indoor ceremony (weather safe plan) option
- Rooms on site for guests to stay
- Spa on site
- Restaurant / catering on site
- Activities close by – for guests
JOB’S PEAK LAWN
An outdoor lawn ceremony location that seats about 200 and offers a view of the Carson Valley and Nevada Mountain range.
A quaint rock patio that seats about 30 and overlooks the steaming hot springs and wetlands. It’s perfect for an intimate ceremony!
This gazebo seats 150 people. It can be opened to enjoy the wetlands or closed, where you can still view the 360 degree view of the Carson Valley.
1862 David Walley’s Restaurant and Saloon
1862 David Walley’s Restaurant has a mountain lodge feeling that seats about 120. The wood and stonework in this restaurant will give a warm and inviting feeling to all of your guests. The food is also delicious!
It seems that not only is 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort & Spa a great place to vacation; it’s a great place to have a wedding or special event! Their staff is prepared to accommodate you by offering beautiful settings and award winning food and beverages. I’d definitely recommend checking them out before you plan your next big event!
